This project provides an Emacs interface for Unidata and Universe servers. It currently requires ECLTYPE U, works only for GNU Emacs under Unix or cygwin, and can only attach to the host machine using telnet (for the interface to the u2 server; the usual directory and remote file editing abilities (like those in tramp) can be used). It provides many advantages to using a plain telnet session to connect to U2 servers from a plain telnet account, however.
